Saturday June 21, 2008 was an exciting day as I was crowned Mrs. South Carolina America! The Newberry Opera House hosted the annual event. I have set up this site to keep an ongoing journal of events as I begin this new journey. For those of you who would like to travel along with me, please enjoy reading the posts and leave any messages or comments. I am very excited about the opportunity to represent our state at the Mrs. America Pageant August 25 - September 2 in Tucson, Arizona!

hi Mrs. Sullivan, My name is Victoria and I work at the high school where I see Mr.Sullivan everyday getting his salads..lol. He told me about you in the contests and I just wanted to check out your pics. Congratulations on all of your success! You are so beautiful!
Hey, You came to the SCGSAH today and talked for about 20 minutes. I felt your story was genuine and sincere and it really touch a place deep in my own heart, seeming we were both in the same situation. I am a creative writing major here and if it weren't for poetry i wouldn't have had an outlet. At 9 months i was given up to the foster car system in Brooklyn, New york and i am thankful that i am adopted today. Thank you so much for coming out and showing that anybody can achieve their dreams.
Sincerely
Jermaine Simpson
